Good to know

A traditional Berkeley stucco house with a deck and small patio in a residential neighborhood. The house is part of what they call a pocket neighborhood, having a common driveway shared by 5 other houses and great neighbors. A breakfast nook, fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom door leads to your private deck, patio and garden.

We are also close to Berkeley Amtrak and 4th street shops, just 10 blocks away. It is a 14 minute bike ride to the UC Berkeley campus. Walk, jog or ride your bike along the Ohlone Greenway/bike trail, two houses down. We are close to the infamous local produce and grocery Monterey Market and the Berkeley Bowl.

This is a condensed version of the full rental agreement terms. The complete agreement contains additional details and provisions. Important House Rules: Not suitable for infants or toddlers. No smoking permitted inside the house. No unauthorized pets allowed. Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (minimize outside noise). No extra guests. Respect neighbors, be courtesy. No subletting or assignment of lease. Property is for temporary, short-term use only. Guest Responsibilities: Pay for any damages to furnishings, household items. Additional cleaning charges over $100 are guest's responsibility (hint: no smoking) Lock doors and windows when not present. Report maintenance issues immediately to owner. Follow all local laws and regulations. Cancellation & Refunds: Guest may cancel at any time. Refunds subject to reservation's cancellation policy. Violation of terms may result in forfeiture of all payments. Liability: Guest assumes all risks related to recreational activities. Guest indemnifies owner against claims arising from property use. Owner not responsible for equipment failures (no rate adjustments). This summary does not replace the full rental agreement. Accessibility

Neighborhood

The cottage is very conveniently located, 2 blocks from the BART station and a few houses from the Ohlone jogging and bike trail. Did I mention the Cedar Rose pickleball courts just a 10 minute walk down the Ohlone trail!? The UC Berkeley campus is a 14 minute bike ride away on bike friendly roads.

Guest Access

Access to the entire house and a fenced-in private back garden patio and deck. There is ample free street parking right out in front.

The Ohlone bike trail is half a block to the east and other trails are nearby. BART two blocks away.
